Cynthia Williams - Oral re: UDW member; County bargaining team does not understand what IHSS providers face on a daily basis; suggested providers who cannot afford health care insurance pay out of pocket and cut Kaiser insurance in November; providers must have insurance to take care of recipients; was offended by speaker who used derogatory language

Vice Chairman Do - Oral re: Requested the County Executive Office include in the April mid-year budget report: 1) Update the current year and 2023/2024 revenue (general purpose and Prop 172 realignment funds) and expense forecast, and provide a status on the County reserves in terms of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA)recommended reserves 2) Provide an update on the status of the reimbursement from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and 3) Refresh the Board of the priorities and costs ancillary to the initiatives for and the impacts of projects on the overall advocacy for OC Cares and the Orange County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (OCCJCC).
