Brigette - Oral re: Board's cover-up of illegal criminal enterprise; judges cover-up of illegal fraud in the court scheme including falsification of official recorded documents; Public Guardian, Public Administrator, CEO Risk Management, Internal Auditor, Orange County Grand Jury investigations; Board Rules of Procedures limit public comments; County fiduciary sale of property by fraud; Ilya and Robert Tseglin; Nate Tseglin case; Klubnikan case.

 

Paul Wilson - Oral re: Wife was killed in Orange County's worst mass killing on October 12, 2011; Attorney General opened an investigation into the misconduct related to the case; 4 years later, the investigation ended without a public report or statement explaining its decision; requested the Board seek justice and demand the release of the Attorney General's investigations, reports and findings.

 

Diana Alvarez - Oral re: Her son Anthony Aceves was found unresponsive in his jail cell on May 23, 2019; has not spoke to anyone or received information regarding his death and has not been provided with his personal belongings.

 

Daisy Ramirez - Oral re: Orange County Jails Condition and Policy Coordinator at the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California; urged the Board to request an independent investigation of in-custody related deaths and to hold the Orange County Sheriff's Department accountable for abuses and violations in Orange County jails; wants justice for Anthony Aceves and all others who have died while in custody.

 

Jackie Cordova - Oral re: Called for the quantum financial reset of monies so agencies can provide mental health; wish kids would not be killed by police officers who are sworn to uphold the law; asked the Board to change their mindset and to listen to those that serve.

 

Michael Tucker - Oral re: Orange County Racial Justice Collaboration; death of Anthony Aceves; requested the Board work with the Sheriff-Coroner to investigate Anthony's death and to communicate with the family; requested the Board increase transparency and separate the duties of the Sheriff-Coroner.

 

Sharon Tipton - Oral re: Number of individuals in Orange County with mental health issues; intensive residential treatment is needed in communities.

 

Sammual Vance - Oral re: Orange County Racial Justice Collaboration; pay attention to what is given to us;  Matthew 25:43 King James version

 

Ilya Tsgelin - Oral re: Mental health, profiteering and removing children from their families; Larry Landauer of Orange County Regional Center; concerns with visibility of corrupted judges.

Supervisor Chaffee - Corrected statement by speaker Bryan Kaye; he does not advocate keeping mentally ill people in jails; Fourth District Kids Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, June 8th at Ralph B. Clark Park in Buena Park; Orange County Employees Association will be providing free hot dogs; complemented Chairwoman Bartlett on her recent visit to Sacramento and her advocacy to find more money for mental health and homeless issue.

 

Supervisor Wagner - Oral re: Requested Chairwoman Bartlett's office share information with all Board offices regarding Anthony Aceves; held town hall meeting last week at Hughes Middle School in Tustin; requested County staff  return to the Board with an ordinance, preferably on 6/25/19, that will help with the code enforcement of and to tighten regulations of sober living homes.

 

Vice Chair Steel - Oral re: Introduced Jacob, District 2 summer intern from Chapman University

 

Chairwoman Bartlett - Oral re: OC Animal Care is continuing fee waivers to encourage adoptions of dogs, cats, rabbits and other companion animals; visit www.ocpetinfo.com or call OC Animal Care for additional information.
