Receive and File the 24th Annual Report on the Conditions of Children in Orange County 2018
SUMMARY/BACKGROUND:
The Orange County Children's Partnership (OCCP), formerly the Children's Services Coordination Committee (CSCC), is a 22 member advisory body established by the Orange County Board of Supervisors in November 1982. The OCCP provides a forum for departments and agencies to disseminate and discuss issues and challenges concerning the Juvenile Justice/Dependency systems. The OCCP collectively focuses its’ efforts to provide a unified voice that champions health, education, safety and economic stability to meet the needs of children and families in Orange County.
Since 1993, the OCCP has sponsored the Annual Report on the Conditions of Children in Orange County. This year, the Annual Report on the Conditions of Children marks the 24th consecutive year of examining Orange County through the interrelated lenses of healthcare, economy, education and public safety.
