RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
Authorize OC Public Libraries to accept a donation in the amount of $15,000 from the Westminster Friends of the Library to offset landscaping costs for the Westminster Branch Library.
SUMMARY:
Authorization to accept the donation from the Westminster Friends of the Library in the amount of $15,000 will offset the cost of landscaping for the Westminster Branch Library.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Westminster Friends of the Library operates a bookstore and holds fundraisers and solicits donations to provide funding and support to the Westminster Branch Library. Accepting the donation in the amount of $15,000 from the Westminster Friends of the Library will offset the cost of purchasing new drought tolerant landscaping for the Westminster Branch Library.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Revenue from this donation will be absorbed in the FY 2020-21 OC Public Library Fund 120 Budget.
