RECOMMENDED ACTION(S)

 

 

1.

Find that the proposed project is categorically exempt (Class 1) from the provisions of CEQA pursuant to Guidelines Section 15301.

 

2.

Approve plans and specifications as filed at the office of Resources & Development Management Department/Internal Services-A&E Project Management, a copy of which is also on file at the Clerk of the Board's Office.

 

3.

Authorize the Director of Resources & Development Management Department, or a designee, to sign the plans and specifications for the County.

 

4.

Authorize the Clerk of the Board to advertise for bids with the bid opening date of  April 5, 2006.

 

 

 

SUMMARY:

 

Approve plans and specifications for HCA/HVAC Expansion for MCAH (100-042-161-4000 & 100-036-P645-1400) and authorize the project to bid.

 

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

 

This project consists of isolating a portion of the Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) clinic from the existing building air conditioning system to improve air flow and enhance ventilation in the MCAH area.

 

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:

CEQA Compliance:  The subject project is categorically exempt (Class 1) from provisions of CEQA pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines.

General Plan:  Not Applicable.
