BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Resources and Development Management Department (RDMD) has prepared a scope of work and has received bids to provide Landscape Maintenance Service at Craig Regional Park. The service will provide seasonally adjusted biweekly/weekly mowing, mechanical and chemical edging, irrigation system maintenance and repair, aeration, minor facility maintenance, general turf and landscape maintenance and grass clipping pickup.
Contract provisions provide for recurring, scheduled maintenance work, extra work for repair of damage from accidents, vandalism, etc., and optional work items if required. Estimated quantities of extra work and optional items were added to the base bid to compute the projected annual cost used for the award amount.
RDMD e-mailed ninety-three (93) & invited ten (10) interested Landscape vendors to a job walk. Seven (7) responsive, responsible bids were received.
