RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):

 

Authorize execution of the attached Agreement with  the City of Laguna Hills for the prosecution of violators of city ordinances for a 5-year period from March 1, 2014 to February 28, 2019 and Clerk of the Board to return the duplicates to the Office of the District Attorney.

 

 

 

 

SUMMARY:

 

The Office of the District Attorney requests approval to renew a 5-year agreement with the City of Laguna Hills to provide services for a fee for the prosecution of violators of city ordinances pursuant to Section 51302 of the Government Code.

 

 

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

 

On March 3, 2009, your Honorable Board approved  a 5-year agreement with the City of Laguna Hills commencing on March 1, 2009 through and including February 28, 2014 to provide services for a fee for the prosecution of violators of city ordinances pursuant to Section 51302 of the Government Code.  The fees were prepared by the Auditor-Controller. 

 

The agreement is due for renewal, and the City of Laguna Hills wishes to renew the agreement for a 5-year period from March 1, 2014 to February 28, 2019.  The Office requests approval of the attached Agreement to provide prosecution services of city ordinance violations pursuant to Section 51302 of the Government Code.
