Vice Chair Foley - Oral Re: 17th Annual New Coats for Kids Drive is underway through December 19th with locations to donate brand-new kids and teens coats at various libraries, senior centers and County facilities; 2025 Corona Del Mar Christmas Walk will be held December 7, 2025 from 11am - 5pm on Pacific Coast Highway throughout Corona Del Mar Village; 5th District Job & Career Fair will be held December 9th from 12:30pm - 5pm at OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa; announced various Menorah lighting and Christmas Tree lighting events being held throughout the 5th District; announced the Irvine hazardous household waste collection center is closing but there are several other collection sites throughout the County for household hazardous waste; and due to her father's recent passing and her own personal experience with the harmful impacts of sun exposure, wanted to remind everyone to wear sunscreen!
