Re: 13th Annual OC Free Health Expo held on October 26 at
Freedom Hall, Mile Square Park served over 1,000 attendees and
thanked over 100 volunteer Doctors, technicians and students
providing dental and health screenings and services; recent
initiatives by Air Quality Management District for zero
emission ships in California ports with charging stations to
recharge while ship is being unloaded, and approved grant
funding for replacing aging diesel school buses with zero
emission electric models and for providing charging stations
in various school districts within Orange County; thanked
Chair Chaffee and Supervisor Sarmiento for co-hosting gun
buyback event and also thanked Mayor Stephanie Klopfenstein,
City of Garden Grove and other law enforcement agencies for
hosting Gun Buy Back event; thanked Dr. Veronica Kelley for
her efforts and working with fire departments in various
cities regarding emergency ambulances; thanked CalOptima for
increasing funds to address food insecurity during government
shut down in collaboration with 2nd Harvest Food Bank and
Community Action Partnership of Orange County; will be
distributing food this weekend at Mile Square Park |
