RECOMMENDED ACTION(S):
Approve the proposed amendments to the Conflict of Interest Code Designated Filer Exhibits for Clerk of the Board.
SUMMARY:
Approval of the proposed Designated Filer amendments to the Conflict of Interest Code Exhibits for Clerk of the Board will ensure County compliance with Fair Political Practices Commission regulations.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On January 9, 2007, the Board of Supervisors (Board) adopted the state’s Model Conflict of Interest Code (Code) for use by County agencies, departments, boards, commissions and committees. The Clerk of the Board (Agency) Department Head has approved the designated positions and Countywide disclosure categories in their Agency’s exhibits. These positions make or participate in the making of governmental decisions that may foreseeably have a material effect on a financial interest. A copy of the Designated Filer Exhibits showing the proposed changes and the final version are attached.
The Board approved the previous Code amendment on June 26, 2018.
